Our Team Cares About the Local History and the Community!

We are dedicated to sharing our story in the Kneehill County, and preserving the history of the parkland-to-plains region of Southern Alberta. With our wide range of artefacts donated from this area, we are able to comprehensively showcase what life was like here over 100 years ago!

Who We Are


The Kneehill Historical Museum operates under the auspices of the Kneehill Historical Society, a non-profit, CRA registered organization dedicated to preserving the history of the people, events, and culture of Kneehill County.
A Recognized Museum by Alberta Museums Association, Society members strive to uphold museum standards, as well as operate an accredited Alberta Visitor  Information Centre within the Village School.  Staff are ready to help you with your inquires or questions as you explore the area.
