This section house, originating from Sunnyslope was brought to our museum to further enhance the story of the railway in the Kneehill area. The restored building is set up to give you a glimpse into the past, and see what life was like for those who relied on the jobs and housing given by railway companies, and the provisions given to them to make ends meet. This is where men would come and sleep when their shift working on, or building the railway had ended. Come and take a look of the working conditions of those who helped connect out country. |
